Duties of Officers

1. Advisor
a. Serves as a member of the Executive Board
b. Makes sure contracts are given when appropriate and all
conflicts of the contract are met
c. Acts as a liaison for Director for problems and grievances
within the choir and all committees
d. Ensures that all officers and committees are effectively doing
their job

2. Director
a. Serves as a member of the Executive Board
b. Is directly involved with all musical and ministry aspects of the
organization
c. Presides over all rehearsals and engagements unless others are
otherwise appointed
d. Works directly with the President regarding booking
engagements

3. President
a. Head of the Executive Board
b. Presides over Executive Board meetings unless others are
appointed
c. Ensures all officers are effectively handling their duties
d. Responsible for booking all engagements
e. Handles all invitations, ads, and returns phone calls
f. Responsible for ensuring our comfort (seating, appropriate
instrumentation, etc.) for engagements

4. Vice-President
a. Serves as a member of the Executive Board
b. Is the second commanding officer of the organization
c. Works directly with the President
d. Must be present at meetings if the President cannot attend
